The Stewardship Committee at Griffith Lutheran invites you to consider a new regular giving option with us. The Simply Giving Program endorsed by Thrivent Financial Bank — an automated giving program — has been developed to assist congregations and their members. Our Church Council and Finance Committee have examined the program and found it to be a good option for members who regularly use automatic withdrawals from their bank accounts.

Response from other congregations suggests many of our members will be interested in this program. Quite simply, it benefits both members and the church. For participants, withdrawing a specified amount from their bank accounts is truly giving the biblical “first fruits.” It also eliminates having to write checks and the possibility of forgetting the checkbook.

For the church, the program helps to provide a consistent, predictable income. The seasonal fluctuations in giving patterns are reduced.

The enclosed enrollment form provides answers to questions you may have and shows you how to use the automated withdrawal plan. To begin using The Simply Giving Program endorsed by Thrivent Financial Bank, complete the enrollment form and bring it to the church office.
