New carpet was installed in pastor's office following the September flooding.
A new credence table was purchased for communion after the two front pews were removed and kneelers installed on the main floor, to eliminate the need to climb the stairs for communion.
Choir cabinets were moved to north balcony room. An office was established for the organist. A short pew was removed to make more room in the choir loft.
Exterior glass doors on north and west side have been replaced.
New improvement of adding a lighted box with the name of Griffith Lutheran Church to sign in front of church has been completed.
The property committee sold the developer property behind the church.
Door panels have been purchased and will be installed shortly in the Pastor's office.
Transmitter and headsets were purchased and made available for worship services.
Pew cushion installation was completed in all main level pews and the balcony.
Individual back rests were also purchased and are available as needed.
New folding machine and telephones were installed in church office.
Repairs were made to both washrooms.
New air conditioner was installed in church office.
A new desk was assembled and installed for the financial computer.
Repairs on leak in church steeple have been made.
Replacement of stolen audio equipment has been completed. Anti-theft and security options are under discussion.
The church custodian has been kept very busy with church and grounds maintenance and assisting in all the different functions in the church and Fellowship Hall.
The Trustees will always listen to new ideas from the congregation for ways to make our church a more pleasant and inviting place for worship.
